Elephant inspired by the expression "The elephant in the room" - "Há um elefante na sala".

It can be used as a decorative piece or as a bookend, opening in half. 
It will be the perfect addition to your bookcase. It has a simple and minimal design, which fits different decorations: wheter is a nordic inspired living room, a midcentury bedroom or a modern and colorful entryway. The perfect design piece to enhance the look of your shelf. 

Each elephant is numbered.

Note:

The object comes with an illustration 10 cm x 15 cm, which illustrates the portuguese expression to which it refers and explains its meaning, and that can be framed.

All articles are handmade in wood. Therefore, may present slight variations when compared to the ones on the pictures.

Care and Maintenance

For a daily cleaning, wipe with a dry cloth.
For a deep cleaning, wipe with a cloth dampened with water and immediately dry.

Shipping and Delivery

Standard shipping to Europe takes about 5-10 business days. All pieces are shipped with CTT, DPD or GLS to Europe. Shipping to the rest of the world takes between 15 to 25 business days. Orders are shipped with CTT.

Portuguese Expression

"An elephant in the room" - "Há um elefante na sala" is an expression used to identify an obvious problem that no one wants to discuss.
The expression is originated in the English Language, and there are several references to when it was used for the first time. However, it is believed that the expression comes from the fable "The Inquisitive Man", written in 1814 by Ivan Krylov, that portrays the visit of a man to a museum, where he notices all sorts of tiny things, but fails to notice an elephant ...
