Candle holders inspired by the expression “In Nature nothing is created, nothing is lost - everything is transformed”.

These candle holders, hand-carved by João, seek to give a second life to wood from different sources - prunings made in the municipality, workshop waste or wood that is given to us. Thus, we have woods as varied as pepper, acacia, mahogany, pine, pear or plum... 

It comes with a glass container, where you can place a tea light candle (which can be replaced).

Their organic shape and unique texture seek to enhance the uniqueness of the wood that originated them.

They can be used as candle holders or decorative pieces, adapting to different environments, from minimalist and contemporary designs to rustic interiors. They can be placed on a bookshelf, coffee table, hallway furniture or dressing table...

 

About the collection:

This is a collection of unique pieces, inspired by nature, wood and the beauty of its imperfections.

Each of them is the result of manual work, which respects and follows the time and uniqueness of the wood we are working with.

In its genesis are various types of wood: wood that we find, that is offered to us, that is the result of pruning or that is waste from our own workshop.

Therefore, no two pieces are the same: they are the result of manual work, where each piece takes its time to come to life.

In the end, you can see the work of two artisans: man and nature…

Includes glass container and candle. Maximum candle diameter 4 cm.

Cracks and knots are part of the nature of the material.

The piece is accompanied by a 10 x 15 cm illustration, which illustrates the Portuguese expression it refers to and explains its meaning, and can be framed.

Care and Maintenance

Para uma limpeza diária, limpar com um pano seco.
Para uma limpeza mais profunda, limpar com um pano humedecido em água e secar de seguida.

Shipping and Delivery

Standard shipping to Europe takes about 5-10 business days. All pieces are shipped with CTT, DPD or GLS to Europe. Shipping to the rest of the world takes between 15 to 25 business days. Orders are shipped with CTT.

Portuguese Expression

Esta é uma das leis que regem as reacções químicas e afirma que numa transformação química, em que determinadas substâncias se transformam em outras, a massa dessas substâncias não é alterada, ou seja, a massa dos reagentes é igual à massa dos produtos.

We believe that this slow process of craftwork, where each piece takes its time to come to life, makes them unique and singular.
